Atlanta Oncology Associates Welcomes Dr. David LowtherAtlanta Oncology Associates (AOA)––one of the largest radiation therapy groups in the Southeast––continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. David Lowther. His areas of special interest are high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy for prostate, breast, and gynecologic malignancies. He will practice at the Northlake Cancer Treatment Center in Tucker.

Dr. Lowther joins AOA after practicing at Western Radiation Oncology and Alameda Radiation Oncology, both in California.
He earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed his residency at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and at the University of California at San Francisco.
Dr. Lowther is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American College of Radiology (ACR), and American Medical Association (AMA).
