Dr. Drake is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is past president of the Mid-Atlantic Society of Radiation Oncologists and the Southern Association for Oncology. He was secretary and subsequently chairman of the Section on Oncology of the Southern Medical Association. He has served as Vice Chairman of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists Credentials Committee and as a Councilor to the American College of Radiology.
